We had exhausted the delights of Derry so were pleased to have the hire car which enabled us to get out for a good walk in the Sperrin Mountains. In a small village there was a community centre with a free car park which they encourage walkers to use. The scenery was fab and we didn't see many other walkers which was a surprise. The route was fairly well marked but there were a few errors on the walk description I was following on my phone and a few markers missing. We ended up walking far too long and uphill in a forest at one stage and had to finish our walk along roads which wasn't planned but again the markers were missing. All in all it was a good day out.
In the evening we went down to the riverfront and Martin caught up with more Clipper staff.
