Last day in Argentina

We are very glad we extended our stay in El Chalten and shortened it here. We didn't have anything to really do today so just walked along the shoreline.
There was a promenade which was probably built a few years ago but which hasn't been maintained - lots of weeds and cracked paving. There were midges and the water was quite far out so not the best walk. We did see flamingos though.

After a coffee in town we came back to the hostel to do some planning for Chile. Tomorrow we get the bus to travel over the border - possibly a 6 hour journey depending on how the border guards are feeling about searches, paperwork etc.

We look forward to seeing what differences there are the other side of the Andes.

Very good at looking cute when begging at the hostel kitchen window but turns ferocious when he spots someone walking down the street.
