We can't quite believe today went so smoothly. We travelled from Slovenia, through Austria and into Italy via a bus and 3 trains without problem.
We caught a bus at 7.20 from Bled to a small station where we caught a train to Villach in Austria. At the first stop across the border the train staff changed over and suddenly it was 'guten tag'. In Villach we had nearly 2 hours between trains so I left Martin with the bags in the station and went to scout for a cafe with wifi. I found one by the river but the cost of 2 drinks nearly blew today's food budget!
Crossing the border again and it became 'buonjourno'.
Our next change was in Venice - we decided not to stopover here as we have been before. The last train was very fast and we got to Verona at 15.30. After a 30 minute tramp we found our rooms and unpacked as we are here for a whole 4 nights!
