Today was cloudy but still warm and we planned to climb a hill to get a good view of the lake including the castle and island church. However their winter had brought lots of rain and wind and there were loads of large trees fallen across the path. This had also caused the local gorge with waterfall to be closed to walkers. We made it about two thirds of the way up before we were beaten but Martin managed to get a picture.
We spent a pleasant couple of hours sitting by the lake with lots of ducks for company.
The hostel was noisy as expected. We had a double room which gets converted back to 6 beds in the high season.
