First day in the Lake District

Beautiful blue skies today. Breakfast arrived on time! I used Google Translate quite a bit as the WiFi was off, we needed a plug for the kitchen sink and the underfloor heating was on so the rooms were baking.

We caught a bus to the Llao Llao peninsula (carefully noting where we needed to request the bus stops on the return journey!). We had a lovely walk with great views and both appreciated finally being out in the countryside.

There were lots of families out for the day and we greeted each other - Ola or Buen Dia or they said both together. The WiFi was still out of action and the Manager spoke rapidly in Spanish despite us saying no espanol. I caught two words Domingo and manana so we assumed the repairs couldn't happen today because it was a Sunday.
