Villa la Angostura

We have had a good 6 nights in Bariloche and have relaxed into the travelling groove and adapted to the time zone. Not sure if I'll ever adapt into 'manana' time though. We've managed to cook some good simple meals with veg too.

This morning we packed up, caught a bus into town and collected our rental car. Martin drove us to our next stop. This took 1.5 hours but we are still by the same lake it's so huge. We had lunch - again with a lovely view.

Our accommodation for the next 3 nights is a small B&B. It's a log cabin type house in woods and we are the only guests staying - probably because it is shoulder season here with skiing finished but not all high hiking trails open yet.

Marisa the 78 year old owner greeted us with the one kiss. I asked her how long she had run the B&B and she replied "3 years and before that I sailed round the world for 5 years". Well that was that - we sat down with a cuppa and she and Martin talked sailing for the next hour. She is so entertaining and amazing and is the only female Argentinean to have sailed around the world! As I write this Martin is reading her online blogs. I think the photos will come out tomorrow.
