Siem Reap last day

On our last day Martin hired an ebike and went back to the Angkor Archeological Park to see some temples etc we had missed on our first visit. I had a quiet day out of the sun.

In Thailand we had to be careful crossing the road - even at pedestrian crossings cars would just drive on through red lights. In Siem Reap there are hundreds of scooters - not all driving on the correct side of the road, driving straight out of side roads with no caution whatsoever and some with no lights at night so its even worse. No wonder their road death toll is higher than the UK despite their population being a quarter of the size. I was relieved when Martin came back to the hotel.
