Last walk on the Dingle Peninsula

When we set off this morning the temperature was zero degrees. We drove up and over Conor's Pass and the temperature dropped to -2. There was a strong wind too. I didn't get out of the car to take these photos from the top.

It took a while to get kitted up once we had parked the car. Best walking jacket on; waterproof over trousers on for extra warmth;  bandana, bobble hat and hood for head protection and jacket cuffs buttoned up tight with hands tucked in.

It still felt cold so we started off at a brisk pace. At the top, after about two hours the snow started but only small flakes swirling around. We were following posts about 100m apart as there was no definable footpath. I was a bit concerned that if the clouds really came in we would have some trouble. The snow flurries continued but eventually we got onto a 'bog road' and started to go down.

On the drive back the snow started to settle
