View from our room;
Pete and Di were really friendly and chatty and we spent some time chatting with them over a cuppa. Later in the evening Martin and I walked just over a mile (as if we hadn't walked enough today) into the village to have a drink in the hotel and hoped to see the live band. But time went on and when they were still setting up at 9.30 we decided to go back home to our bed. The walk back was interesting as it was pitch black once we left the lights of the village.
