Just before bed last night we heard a stag roaring and this morning as we set out we saw a magnificent stag in the field behind the croft.
We drove to Aros Park and walked round a small loch, past some waterfalls then along the coast path to Tobermory then further on to a lighthouse overlooking the sound. In Tobermory there was a small RNLI visitor centre, a museum packed with artefacts and information about Mull and, most strangely, a Nepalese craft room. Proceeds from sales go to support community projects in Nepal.
We got back to the car earlier than expected so did another short walk to Loch Frisa.
The wind was building as the afternoon wore on and there are gales forecast for tonight. Tomorrow morning we catch the ferry from Tobermory to Kilchoan on the mainland - weather permitting.
